Cassandra Vaughn
My name is Ms. Cassandra Vaughn and I am your child(rens) School Counselor at Jenifer Elementary School. I was born and raised in Waldorf, Maryland, where I graduated from Thomas Stone High School in 2012. I went on to obtain my Bachelor’s Degree at Guilford College in 2016, which is in Greensboro, North Carolina. I played college soccer there as well with my sister Emily! I found my passion for School Counseling while being a Teacher Assistant in CCPS, and I decided to enroll and obtained my Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Liberty University in December of 2019. This is my third official year as a Jenifer Elementary STAR School Counselor, and I LOVE working with all their students. SCHOOL PYSCHOLOGIST
Erin Conner
I am a nationally certified School Psychologist with a master’s degree and an advanced certificate of study in School Psychology from Bowie State University. My professional journey includes valuable experience working in the Transition Department of Charles County Public Schools, where I played a key role in ensuring students transitioned into their adult lives with the appropriate supports.
I enjoy being outdoors, being active, and in general, all the little things in life!
I am excited to be a part of Jenifer Elementary school, where I look forward to collaborating with students, families, and staff to support student growth and success.

SCHOOL COUNSELOR
Miguel Gonzalez
I'm Mr. Gonzalez, the new school counselor at Jenifer Elementary School. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. I graduated from Ana G. Mendez University, where I completed my Bachelor's degree in Social Work and then my Master's degree in School Counseling. I worked in all grade levels as a school social worker in Puerto Rico. I moved to Maryland almost ten years ago. This is my third year as a school counselor, but my first at the elementary level. I come from a high school setting in PGCPS. I'm excited to be your child's school counselor and look forward to working with you and your kid; please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
