Student Safety During Morning Arrival

As the principal at Jenifer Elementary School, my greatest responsibility, even before the education of your children, is the safety of all 616 students that attend our wonderful school. You can help with this monumental task!

In order to ensure our students’ safety during morning arrival, please help us in the following areas:

• Avoid driving the wrong way down the ONE WAY road that goes towards the cafeteria and the back of the building. We currently have a teacher standing there to help enforce this policy. There are also “Do Not Enter”  signs posted in this area.
• Children should never be dropped off from the teacher parking lot. Children should only be dropped off along the sidewalks in the car rider drop-off line. Please do not cut through the teacher parking lot during morning arrival times.
• When you drop your children off at school in the car rider line, please have your children exit your vehicle nearest the sidewalk, so they do not step out into the parking lot where cars may be passing.

After dropping off your children, please continue to move forward so the flow of cars is not interrupted. If you need to enter the building, please park in the bus parking lot in one of the parking spaces and go to the main office to sign in.
